Colophon

I created this site during the spring and summer of 2026. It's the third iteration of the site: version 1 and version 2 can be found on the WayBack Machine.

This site was built with:

  • Writing: I use a number of different writing and note-taking tools, and often switch back and forth. This site was bridged between Reflect and Obsidian.
  • Typography: As a new Montrealer, I like supporting local foundries. The typefaces on this site are from the Pangram Pangram foundry.
  • Photo editing: Still using good ol' Photoshop for mockups and fine-tuning experiments.
  • Content management: The site and the Dear Designer newsletter is powered by Ghost, a non-profit, open source and carbon neutral platform.
  • Copy + Paste: That satisfying combinations of ⌘-C and ⌘-P invented by the late Larry Tesler (z"l).
  • Design: Design concepts, composites and compositions by me using Figma
  • Music: A little bit of a lot of Aldous HardingKurt Vile and Phillip Glass

Thank you, also, to everyone who has come into touch with this site in one way or another. That includes my wife, daughter and colleagues who offered guidance and moral support.
